Georgia

The Caucasus at its most welcoming — mountains, monasteries and Tbilisi charm, barely three hours from the Gulf.

Georgia at a glance

Georgia has become one of the GCC's favourite short-haul escapes for good reason: it is close, visa-easy for most Gulf nationals, and packs mountains, wine country, Black Sea coast and a walkable old-world capital into one compact destination. Through our representation of BeTraveler, a Tbilisi-based DMC specialising in private touring, agents get organised ground handling across the whole country — from classic Tbilisi–Kazbegi circuits to Batumi beach add-ons and combined Georgia–Türkiye programmes — with every itinerary run privately rather than on seat-in-coach departures, a natural fit for GCC families and honeymooners.

BeTraveler

The on-the-ground partner behind every Georgia itinerary we package.

BeTraveler is a destination management company based in the heart of Tbilisi, built around an experienced team and a simple promise: every tour is private. Whether it is an individual traveller, a honeymoon couple or a full group, programmes are organised exclusively for that party — no shared coaches, no fixed departures. The portfolio spans adventure, honeymoon, hiking, business, VIP, medical, MICE and wine tours, each woven through with Georgia's traditional and ethnic character.

Beyond Georgia itself, BeTraveler operates across Transcaucasia — Azerbaijan and Armenia — and runs combined Georgia–Türkiye itineraries that link Tbilisi and Kazbegi with Istanbul and Cappadocia. On the ground, the team handles hotel reservations, airport transfers, chauffeur-driven car rental, guides and interpreters, and domestic train ticketing, so an agent can hand over a complete file rather than stitching services together.

Custom itinerary development is central to how BeTraveler works: programmes are built around your clients' wishes, dates, locations and service level rather than forced into a fixed template. With fifteen published tours as a starting point and a tailor-made desk behind them, it is a flexible partner for everything from a three-night city break to a ten-night two-country journey.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What GCC agents ask us most about Georgia.

Is Georgia visa-free for UAE and other GCC nationals?

Most GCC nationals — including citizens of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman — are generally visa-exempt for short stays in Georgia. Rules and permitted durations do change, and expatriate residents travelling on residence permits face extra conditions, so confirm current requirements for your client's nationality with our team before booking.

How long is the flight from Dubai to Tbilisi?

Approximately 3 to 3.5 hours direct from Dubai to Tbilisi International Airport, making Georgia one of the shortest long-weekend escapes available to GCC travellers.

Who is BeTraveler?

BeTraveler is a Tbilisi-based destination management company run by an experienced team, offering private tours across Georgia and Transcaucasia. Its portfolio covers adventure, honeymoon, hiking, business, VIP, medical, MICE and wine tours, supported by hotel reservations, airport transfers, chauffeur-driven cars, guides and interpreters. Byond Borders represents BeTraveler to the GCC trade.

Can itineraries combine Georgia with Türkiye or the wider Caucasus?

Yes. BeTraveler publishes combined programmes such as a 9-day Georgia–Turkey journey ending in Istanbul and a 10-day route that adds Batumi, Cappadocia and Istanbul, and it also operates across Armenia and Azerbaijan. Multi-country files are handled on a single booking through our Dubai desk.

When is the best time to visit Georgia?

Georgia works year-round: spring and autumn suit cultural touring, summer brings Black Sea beaches at Batumi plus cool mountain days, and winter offers skiing at Gudauri, Bakuriani and Mestia — a genuine snow product just a short flight from the Gulf.

Are BeTraveler's tours private or seat-in-coach?

Private. BeTraveler organises all its tours exclusively for the booked party — individuals, couples, families or groups — which suits GCC clients who prefer their own vehicle, guide and pace rather than shared departures.
